Well Files

Well files include on and offshore drilled numbers by year from 1950, forecast to 2050, divided into water depth intervals. Drilled wells are split by exploratory and development type for every country and selected regions.

Note: the historic numbers are estimates based on publicly available data along with interpolations, extrapolations, and forecasts. We suggest you review the methods pages before downloading. There is no guarantee of precision or accuracy (see terms of use).
