These include on and offshore drilled numbers for oil and gas by year from 1950, forecast to 2050. Numbers are split into exploratory and development categories and water depth intervals for every country and selected regions.
Reserves and Resources files (click for more details)
These are defined as cumulative reserves (produced up to the current year) or remaining reserves and resources (that will be produced up to a final year - 2100).
Numbers are given yearly from 1950 and forecast to 2050. They are an estimate of the most likely cumulative produced reserves, and remaining recoverable reserves and resources, at each year for every country and selected regions.
Offshore reserves and resources are divided into water depth intervals.
Oil and gas data sets are available in Excel spreadsheets.
Use the data to help evaluate the energy shift and develop budgets, strategies and policies.
